If It’s Not Flexible, It Is Not Worth Your Money

When it comes to picking furniture either for the home or your office, one would sometimes question oneself do we go for something generic which you can plug-and-play (so to speak) or do we go for something more unique and customized?

There is no right or wrong answer in this respect as any interior designer or furniture supplier or designer or manufacturer can tell it is entirely, completely and unequivocally up to you what you intend to do with the furniture that you get. The most important thing for you to consider is, at the end of the day, is it worth your money?

Customized furniture has a very good plus point in which is that it has been designed specifically for that space. It gives the whole place a completely new look and feel and it makes you feel like you have paid special attention to the home or office. It makes you feel incredibly proud too if it was something that others envied you for or people took notice of. And of course, if that happened, who could blame you for taking pride in it?

But let’s face it, if you are running a small business or a retail outlet that is catering for conventional customers, is it really worth the dollars? For sure, if you are decorating your million-dollar mansion, that is quite another story. People have customized-fitting wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and personalized bathroom designs, etc. But for a retail outlet? Do you really consider it OK to spend on unnecessary customized furniture or display shelves (unless it is considered necessary, that is)?

Helping the customers customize something generic is a far easier and cost-effective way to go about decorating an office or showroom. Confused?

There are many products out there that are generic by nature but part of it can be personalized to fit the size of the wall or floor or a particular area of your office. The products does not limit, however, the ways that you use it because they have accessories that can help you modify the panels or shelves so that it suits your needs.

Now, THIS is what we constantly encourage people to look out for. You want a furniture that can be customized and yet retain its element of flexibility without losing its initial appeal, and if in the near future, you decide to make some major changes to the look and feel of your office or showroom, you would have no problems at all!

In my personal opinion, when it comes to decorating an office or showroom, flexibility wins hands down.
